 Tapan Gandhi is Principal at BroadBranch Advisors. Prior to that at ASK Pravi Capital, he was part of the team that has raised a mid-market private equity fund focused on investing in businesses across industries benefiting from the consumption theme in India. Before raising the fund, he had founded a strategy consulting and investment banking firm in India called Forward Thinking. Prior to that he was the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Lehman Brothers in India, where he led the landmark acquisition of a leading institutional brokerage business (Brics Securities). In addition, he has worked at global institutions such as Capital One, Strategy& (former Booz & Co), and Philips. Mr. Gandhi has been invited to speak at leading Fortune 1000, FTSE 250 companies, and at various industry forums about capital allocation and fund raising. He currently serves on the Boards of Legatax, a legal and tax advisory platform in India, and VCEE (Virginia Council on Economic Education). He has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, Yale University and has a Masters in Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
